I recently moved house and due to my terrible organisation I’ve not managed to time the internet and phone service move quite right. Therefore I’m without the internet until late July. As such I won’t be able to make my usual posting but rest assured I will take this time away to dream up stunning new ideas and hit the blog with a bang soon!
I will keep you posted and be back soon!

If you’re a fan of Facebook then you may like to hear about the following groups for individuals who love tea.
- A Cup of Tea Solves Everything – Indeed it does and a wise bunch they all our in this group of just over 175,000 members! Thats true dedication.
- Nice cup of tea and a sitdown – With a name inspired by the book this society is indeed one of the best following much the same style as Nicey and Wifey.
- Tea Lovers Society – A smaller group but no less fanatical about the lovely brew! They seem to be big fans of Stephen Fry too – who you may know from the Twinning’s adverts on TV.
- A Cup of Tea is the Answer – This is promoting a tea podcast website. I’ll be doing a review of it soon enough!
- Addicted to Green Tea – For the green tea lovers out there!! They have their own group – maybe someone needs to setup a black tea society – hmmm, ideas……
Important: To see the above groups you’ll need to be a member of Facebook. Its an easy site to join and the highlights are endless! If you join don’t hesitate to add me using the link on the right.

Fireworks and Lapsang Souchong
To all my fellow British readers I wish you a happy Guy Fawkes night. I haven’t celebrated it myself for many years now but I saw some of the fireworks at the local park this Sunday just gone and they were fantastic!!
As its traditional to light a fire and watch the fireworks on the 5th November I think a nice Lapsang Souchong would be quite fitting!

According to the Sun Times of Chicago the greatest most awesome senator – Obama….Drinks Tea!!!
Forget the economy. Forget green house gasses. Forget Iraq. Forget the world.
Obama drinks tea – the only fact you need know. If we’d all been told that from the beginning we could have dispensed with the vote entirely!

Today was a day of arguments and bitter vitriol from coffee-lovers.
Now I’ll admit coffee has its place. Often good with chocolate to produce a fine mocha but it simply does not measure up to the taste, refreshment and socio-political impact that tea does. This argument took place on a message board and started off innocently enough as a discussion about ‘Life Passions’. I of course stated that one of my passions was tea. This was met with wholly unfounded statements such as “tea is crap”, “tea makes me sick” and “how on earth can you be passionate about a drink?”.
I gave a robust defence, however it was quite clear I was surrounded by lunatics and criminals and they deserved none of my time or effort. The battle was clearly won due to the lack of clear opposition and by the superiority of tea.
