Fantastic Site for Tea
I discovered a very good tea site which has a large array of interesting information on tea and various tips on tea making. You can visit it here:
I must disagree with one of the points they make though as it’s a little unfair:
1. Good tea is not to be found in supermarkets. Tea from supermarkets tastes plain and bitter. High quality teas are sweet, complex and fragrant.
He later goes on to say that Twinnings lose leaf tea is the only supermarket tea worth touching. Now I can understand him saying this with green tea as its a muchg more delicate yet vcaried and rich flavour. Black tea on the other hand is a variety that holds its flavour well regrdless of whether its in a bag or not – although I’m not saying that bag tea is as good or better but I am saying that to put down all supermarket bagged tea is a little unfair.
